Vinash Kale Viprit Buddhi
On the intervening night of June 25 and 26, 1975, Indira Gandhi’s police arrested Jai Prakash Narayan (JP) who was sphere-heading a nationwide movement against corruption. While being taken away, JP had used a samskrit aphorism- Vinash kale viprit buddhi meaning when the downfall/destruction/death is near, one behaves/acts with deluded mind. After 21 months, Indira Gandhi and her Congress party were badly routed at the hustings and JP was hailed as Lok Nayak (leader of masses).
History is about to repeat with the midnight arrest of Baba Ramdev because truth is much more powerful than the moneybags and naked power. Congress and Sonia Gandhi, be forwarned!
